Shenzhen, born from reform and strengthened by opening-up. Over the past 40 years, it has transformed from a dilapidated fishing village into a vibrant modern international metropolis, achieving earth-shaking changes and creating one world miracle after another. At the forefront of China's socialist modernization demonstration zone, along with the rapid development of urbanization, this city has not only given birth to telecom giants but also nurtured a group of large-scale real estate developers, among which Galaxy Holding Group stands out.

Developed and invested by Galaxy Holding Group, the Shenzhen Galaxy Twin Towers are located along the central axis of Shenzhen, a core city in the Greater Bay Area, situated in Bantian Subdistrict, Longgang District. The project benefits from the dual advantages of being in both the urban core area and a world-class electronic information industry cluster. With a total construction area exceeding 360,000 square meters, the towers will integrate high-end business offices, a helipad, a sky lobby for corporate headquarters, shared conference centers, staff cafeterias, and other vertical functions, creating a "three-dimensional city in the sky" that accommodates nearly 30,000 people for work and living.

Proudly, the 356m/1168ft-tall Galaxy Twin Towers were certified by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) in December 2021 as "China's tallest twin towers of equal height" and ranked as the world's second-tallest twin towers, only surpassed by Kuala Lumpur's 452m Petronas Twin Towers.

This prestigious certification symbolizes the breakthrough and innovation in super high-rise building technology achieved by Shenzhen Galaxy Twin Towers. From this moment onward, the Shenzhen Galaxy Twin Towers stand proudly in the Greater Bay Area, redefining the city's skyline with global attention.

As one of China's super high-rise twin-tower buildings, the 356-meter-high Galaxy Twin Towers project has a total construction area of 670,000 square meters, with both the east and west towers having 73 above-ground floors. It is well known that the higher the floor, the higher the quality requirements for the aluminum panels used in the curtain walls. Additionally, due to the unique architectural shape of the Galaxy Twin Towers, the precision requirements for the curtain wall aluminum panels are even more stringent, making the process extremely challenging.

As one of China's equal-height super high-rise twin-tower buildings, Shenzhen Galaxy Twin Towers incorporate numerous advanced architectural technologies, creating a landmark that combines safety, efficiency, sustainability, and intelligent innovation.

To ensure the long-term stability and safety of the super high-rise structure, the Galaxy Twin Towers adopted safety standards that exceed conventional requirements. The two towers use a total of 65,000 tons of steel, equivalent to the weight of approximately nine Eiffel Towers. Based on an 8mm-diameter steel bar calculation, the total length of steel used reaches 59,460 kilometers, enough to circle the Earth one and a half times. To reduce structural vibrations caused by strong winds and earthquakes, Tuned Sloshing Dampers (TSDs) are installed on the 70th floors of both towers, enhancing the building’s wind and seismic resistance and ensuring safe operation throughout its service life.

In terms of vertical transportation, the Galaxy Twin Towers are equipped with 88 high-speed elevators serving six office zones. Each zone includes 4–6 passenger elevators, 2 VIP elevators, and 2 fire elevators, ensuring efficient vertical mobility throughout the buildings. Some high-speed elevators can reach a speed of 7 m/s, with an average waiting time of approximately 30 seconds. By adopting a destination control system, the towers can reduce elevator waiting time by around 30% during peak hours, significantly improving operational efficiency and user experience.

Beyond structural safety and operational efficiency, the Galaxy Twin Towers also embrace the concepts of green architecture and healthy workplaces. The project was designed according to two internationally recognized standards: LEED Gold Certification and WELL v2 Core Platinum Certification. It integrates a VRV central air-conditioning system and fresh air ventilation system, providing an office fresh air volume of 30 m³/(h·person) to create a healthier and more comfortable working environment. The project also features employee dining facilities focused on balanced nutrition, as well as supporting amenities such as the Galaxy Sports Center and hiking trails at Yinhu Mountain Country Park, creating a comprehensive space integrating work, wellness, and leisure.

In the future, the Galaxy Twin Towers will collaborate with Tencent Cloud to develop a next-generation smart high-rise building, with Tencent Weiling IoT technology as the core platform. Advanced applications, including AI facial recognition systems, smart parking systems, and AI energy management systems, will be integrated into daily operations, transforming the towers into a green, healthy, intelligent, and secure super high-rise landmark.
