Guangzhou Metro Line 10 (Xilang–Tianhe Coach Terminal) serves as a backbone in Guangzhou's rail transit network, undertaking the crucial mission of optimizing the urban central area's line structure, strengthening connections between key regions, and alleviating north-south traffic pressure. As a vital corridor linking Liwan’s old city, Yuexiu’s core district, and Tianhe’s bustling areas, Line 10 holds profound strategic significance for enhancing the city's comprehensive carrying capacity, promoting coordinated regional development, and revitalizing the old city with new energy.
At 14:00 on June 29, 2025, Guangzhou Metro Line 10 (Xilang–Yangji East) officially commenced operations. It is the first line in Guangzhou Metro to operate with the highest-level GOA4 fully automated driverless technology.

In this major urban infrastructure project, Wholetops, with its exceptional product quality and reliable supply assurance capabilities, was honored to win the bid for supplying ceiling materials for the station's public area decoration. Fully aware of the significant responsibility, Wholetops implemented high-standard control across the entire chain—from collaborative detailed design, careful selection of raw materials, lean production management, to stringent factory quality inspections. The entire company worked in unison to ensure every batch of aluminum panels was delivered on time, with guaranteed quality and quantity, contributing solid and reliable "Wholetops Power" to building the "Greater Bay Area on the Tracks."
Guangzhou Metro Line 10
Guangzhou Metro Line 10 adopts "Livable Guangzhou, Colorful Life" as its design theme, showcasing Guangzhou's "innovative, open, green, and vibrant" cityscape that is ideal for both work and living. It specially features three uniquely themed stations: Donghu Station's "Leisure Life," Huawei Station's "Vibrant Life," and Xilang Station's "Harmonious Life."
Donghu Station
Donghu Station integrates the cultural heritage of historical neighborhoods with the dynamic aesthetics of natural landscapes through its design inspiration "Donghu Spring Dawn," focusing on the theme of "Leisure Life."

The ceiling features a design of blue and wood-grained aluminum panels, paired with oval droplet-shaped lighting fixtures, creating a dynamic visual effect resembling "ripples on a lake" and fostering an immersive experience of "walking beneath shimmering waves."

Xilang Station
Known as the "starting point of the Guangzhou Metro," Xilang Station serves as a vital transportation hub connecting four lines. It embodies the design philosophy of "dual-city symbiosis and natural connection," with "harmonious living" as its central theme.

The overall color scheme is dominated by "pure white," highlighting a clean and vibrant transportation atmosphere while metaphorically representing the beautiful vision of "co-construction and sharing" in the process of Guangzhou-Foshan integration.

The station design stems from the philosophical core of "shared roots, flourishing branches." The ceiling features fluid diamond-shaped elements that mimic overlapping foliage, while the clever integration of white metal grilles and wood-grain finishes not only showcases the vitality of "upward growth" but also softens the austerity of the transit space with the warmth of wooden textures.

Huawai Station
Arriving at Huawai Station by train, one is greeted by a warm red color palette full of industrial character. The station design centers around the core concept of "Casting History·Forging Renewal" with "Vibrant Living" as its theme, symbolizing the city's continuous vitality and organic renewal.

Other Sites
Building upon the concept of "one station, one color," Line 10 further develops a distinctive feature of "one district, one color." Tailoring to the environmental essence of different segments, carefully selected dominant hues were chosen: Tianhe District adopts the vibrant and youthful "Sunrise Orange" as its main tone; Yuexiu District opts for the profound "Classic Gold" to highlight its historical charm; Haizhu District features the "Canton Embroidery Blue," symbolizing the clear waves of Haizhu; while Liwan District embraces "Eco Green" to promote an eco-friendly and joyful lifestyle.

"Embracing diversity with a magnanimous heart" — Guangzhou's allure has long surpassed singular labels such as the "Millennium Commercial Capital" or "Gourmet Paradise." Today, Guangzhou is the capital of Guangdong Province, a national historical and cultural city, an international trade hub, and a comprehensive transportation center. The city's immense vitality relies on the support of efficient transportation. As of June 29, 2025, the operational mileage of Guangzhou's metro network has reached 751.1 kilometers, with a total rail transit mileage exceeding 1,100 kilometers across the Greater Bay Area. Its daily passenger volume surpasses tens of millions, serving as the city's vital "artery" for efficient operation.

Rail transit is the pioneer of urban development, crucial to economic prosperity and public well-being. The "Guangzhou Comprehensive Transportation System Plan (2023-2035)" clearly prioritizes rail transit development, steadfastly implementing a public transport-first strategy. The completion and opening of Line 10 represent a solid foundation and significant milestone in realizing this grand vision.
