Sunac Guangzhou Grand Theatre sits within Guangzhou Sunac Cultural Tourism City as a landmark cultural venue with a total construction area of around 50,000 square meters. Inspired by flowing silk folds and the traditional Chinese folklore “Hundred Birds Paying Homage to the Phoenix”, the building features twisting, sculptural exterior surfaces that deliver striking visual impact. WholeTops supplied aluminum single‑panel and double‑curved facade panels for this iconic project. Working closely with the design institute, our team overcame extreme technical challenges of three‑color spraying on individual monolithic facade panels, requiring precise masking, strict coating‑thickness control and multi‑stage baking to achieve sharp, clean color boundaries without paint bleeding. Countless custom‑formed double‑curved panels follow the building’s complex twisted geometry, reproducing delicate phoenix‑and‑bird decorative motifs across the undulating outer skin. All delivered panels comply with domestic building codes and international facade acceptance standards, perfectly merging traditional cultural aesthetics, sophisticated metal‑processing craftsmanship and long‑term weather‑resistant performance for this high‑profile cultural landmark.
